Candy Morsels

I think it's kindof sad how Halloween is just another excuse for college kids to party. They are missing on the real reason of the season.. which obviously is the delicious candy goodies. Other than coming to my English class (Lol!) I think one of the greatest joys in life is the slow consumption of a variety candy bag. You know the one they sell at Walgreen's thats loaded with everything from Tootsie Rolls to Skittles to Smarties to the ever present and unpleasant candy corn - Blech! Each candy's falvor is unique, and sometimes I like to think of the memories that each morsel evokes in me. For instance, whenever I eat a blow pop I think back to second grade when it was cool to act like the stick leftover from the lollipop was a ciggarette. Or i might be magically whisked away to my grandmothers house where a bowl of Smarties always sat on the cofee table in front of the warm buzz of her ancient TV, and how I could watch the same Disney movies on that fuzzy screen while munching away. Perhaps I have taken this too far.. either way, I guess I should look forward to my next tasty treat.. Thanksgiving Turkey.
