So long story short something was wrong with my other blog. Anything I posted from my computer I could only see from my computer, and for my blogs to show up I would have had to post them all from a diff. comp which would obviously have been painfully unconvienent so I've created breakfast at tahra's 2, complete with green layout.
Soooo weekend recap. I went up to Fort Worth for a TCU visit, and I must say I'm always amazed by how pretty their campus is. Not that ours isn't lovely, but their's has just such a pristine private school feel about it. Interesting fact-they've actually trademarked the particular color of brick they use in their buildings so that no other University can use it. I find that funny and also pretty neat.
I did some fratting and some catching up with friends, and I'd say the 3 and 1/2 hour drive was worth it. On the way home I spent the night in Austin with my mom and we had a wonderful girls night. I worry for her now that she's all alone at home and I'm glad we we're able to spend some quality time together. We stayed up all night Saturday watching MTV's ridiculous show Date My Mom and laughing at the weird mother daughter pairs. My favorite was an asain mother who named her daughter Rafunzel. When the potential dater inquired about the strange name her explanation was that when her daughter was born she had alot of hair on her back, slightly reminiscent of the fairy tale princess Rapunzel. Buuuuut she wanted her daughter to be an original so she named her RaFUNzel. I think Rapunzel itself would have been original enough.

sorry to hear about your roommate situation. i don't get along with anyone so i always ended up butting heads with roommates, even when they were my friends. just look forward to next year when you can hopefully get a room of your own somewhere.
